1. Connect R and C in series with the AC signal generator, as shown in the circuit diagram 1.
2. Set the signal generator to a sinusoidal signal with a peak-to-peak voltage of 4.0V.
3. Connect the oscilloscope's channel 1 to the signal generator and channel 2 to the capacitor.
4. Set the signal generator at the desired frequency as shown in Table 1.
5. Measure the time period for each signal using the oscilloscope.
6. Measure the time shift of the output wave using the oscilloscope.
7. Calculate the phase shift by using the formula on the first page.
8. Repeat steps 4 - 7 to fill out Table 1 below.
