On the 10^(th ) June 2025, maintenance audit was conducted to assess the one day performance of this equipment and the following outcomes were reported: System average interruption frequency index of 0.02, System average interruption duration index 0.1 and customer average interruption duration index found to be 0.071 . Use this information to determine the following:
a. Total number of customers (carriages) served in that day.
b. Downtime of the equipment in that day.

2.2 The current of a torch, travels from the battery to the switch and the globe. The reliability of this system 0.04 , battery 0.4 and 0.2 for the globe. As the maintenance expert, determine the reliability of the switch and draw the reliability model of this system.
2.3 The probability of reliability for the system components are as follows, C1 0.4, C2
0.2 , C3 0.5 , C4 0.6 and C5 0.3. Calculate the reliability of the system below.
