QUESTION 1
The heavier components are to be removed from a gas stream by absorption. The
absorption column operates at 2 MPa and 313K. The entering oil and gas with its
composition and K- values can be found in Table 1. The oil and gas are fed to a
stripper with 4 theoretical stages, where the lighter components are stripped by
superheated oil.
It can be assumed that A and S values can be based on the entering values of L and
V, and K- values are constant.
