Step 1
SR Flip-flop: The SR (Set-Reset) flip-flop is the simplest form of flip-flop, which can exist in two states: the set state and the reset state. The S (set) and R (reset) inputs are used to change the state of the flip-flop. When S=1 and R=0, the flip-flop is set Show more…

QUESTION THREE Draw the circuit diagram of a Master-slave J-K flip-flop using NAND gates and with other relevant diagram explain the working of master-slave JK flip flop. What is race around condition? How is it eliminated in a Master-slave J-K flip-flop.
Adi S.
What is the major advantage of the J-K flip-flop over the S-R flip-flop? The J-K flip-flop is much faster. The J-K flip-flop has a toggle state. The J-K flip-flop has two outputs. The J-K flip-flop has lower power dissipation. The J-K flip-flop does not have propagation delay problems.
Q5: Design a synchronous sequential circuit for the state diagram of the following Figure using JK flip-flop: Q6: For the following circuit, find the state and the outputs of the flip flops for three clocks. Assume that all flip flops are initially 0 (A = 0, B = 0, C = 0) and the input x changed for each clock as follow x=0 at T0, x=1 at T1 and x=0 at T2.
