The lifetime has been determined by studying the decay from rest of the K+ meson in the mode K+ -> π+ + π0. The average distance traveled by the meson in a block of photographic emulsion before it decays in the easily observable mode e+e-γ is measured, and from the calculated velocity of flight of the meson, its lifetime is obtained. Given that its lifetime is 0.8×10^-16 sec, predict the average distance traveled by a meson before it decays. (Hint: you may assume that the mesons have an average mass of 137 MeV)
