The manometer has been in service for many years, and the arm connected to the gas vessel has become so encrusted that it is impossible to see the manometer fluid level in it. (a) If you could see the manometer fluid level in the left arm, how much higher or lower (state which) would it be than the level in the right arm? (b) Suppose you notice that after several days, the level in the right arm has dropped. Give five possible explanations. For each one state whether the level in the left arm would rise , drop or remain the same.
