00:01
All right, friends, let's think through this problem together.
00:02
So what we have is a discussion about climate change.
00:07
So climate change.
00:10
Now, first things first, i would definitely encourage you to do some research.
00:14
And i did a little bit of research on nasa, nasa's website.
00:20
And specifically, this is climate.
00:23
Dot nasa .gov slash evidence.
00:28
There are tons of other very credible sources about climate and different countries are definitely also measuring climate and climate change throughout the world.
00:41
So i would highly recommend that you take a look at those and see the wealth of information that is available.
00:49
We are only going to discuss just a very handful of different items here to discuss climate change and kind of why that may be the case that we are seeing a change in the world around us.
01:02
And so the first thing is carbon dioxide is increasing in our atmosphere.
01:19
Carbon dioxide is increasing in our atmosphere and it is extremely high.
01:25
What we also know is that carbon dioxide has a heat trapping nature, which means that the more carbon dioxide there is in the atmosphere, the more heat that is trapped closer to earth.
01:47
So heat is trapped closer to earth.
01:53
Now, i am being very brief with my sentences here so that you can begin to follow along.
01:59
But i would highly encourage you to take a look at some of the research papers that exist around this topic.
02:07
And so what we also can see is that carbon dioxide as a result, of heat trapping has created variable temperatures around the globe.
02:31
So places that may normally be a lot colder are maybe a little bit warmer and places that are a lot warmer could be a tiny bit colder.
02:41
And what this does is it creates inconsistency in our weather.
02:56
We don't just see that in the united states.
02:58
That is something that we see globally...
