Fat Percentage Calculator One gram of fat has 9 calories. If you know the number of fat grams in a particular food, you can use the following formula to calculate the number of calories that come from fat in that food: Calories from fat = Fat grams Ă— 9 If you know the food's total calories, you can use the following formula to calculate the percentage of calories from fat: Percentage of calories from fat = Calories from fat Ă· Total calories Create an application that allows the user to enter: - The total number of calories for a food item - The number of fat grams in that food item The application should calculate and display: - The number of calories from fat - The percentage of calories that come from fat Also, the application's form should have a CheckBox that the user can check if he or she wants to know whether the food is considered low fat. (If the calories from fat are less than 30% of the total calories of the food, the food is considered low fat.) Use the following test data to determine if the application is calculating properly: - Calories and Fat Percentage - Fat: 200 calories, 8 fat grams - Percentage of calories from fat: 36% - Fat: 150 calories, 2 fat grams - Percentage of calories from fat: 12% (a low-fat food) - Fat: 500 calories, 30 fat grams - Percentage of calories from fat: 54%

Problem A: I have heard that a person's body mass index (BMI) is associated with the calories of food they consume per day. I randomly selected 20 people and measured how many calories they consumed per day, and I also measured their BMI. I predict that people who consume more calories will have a higher BMI. Take a look at the correlation output and answer the following questions. According to these results, which best explains the relationship between the two variables. As calories go up, BMI goes up, and the relationship is weak. As calories go down, BMI goes down, and the relationship is strong. BMI and calories are not systematically related. As calories go up, BMI goes down, and the relationship is moderate
Match the key term to its appropriate definition. Fat is incorporated into various tissues of the body that are critical for normal body functioning. Obesity: Body weight above the recommended range for good health. Visceral fat: Fat located around major organs. Subcutaneous fat: Fat located under the skin. Adipose tissue: Connective tissue which is stored fat. Body mass index: A measure of relative body weight that takes height into account and is highly correlated with more direct measures of body fat. Percent body fat: The percentage of total body weight that is composed of fat. Diabetes mellitus: A disease that disrupts normal metabolism, interfering with cells' ability to take in glucose for energy production. Essential fat: Fat that is necessary for normal body functioning. Female athlete triad: A condition consisting of three interrelated disorders - abnormal eating patterns followed by lack of menstruation and decreased bone density.
