To one year one of my favorite periods of time for children so because they're learning so much so we are mostly they're learning about their gross muscle development so how does this happen usually around six months by that time usually they're rolling over and that's going to be developed that means their core has been become developed they're learning that muscle that gives that strength to actually roll over which and they start rolling all over the place becoming in very mobile.

Once they start rolling over, developing that core strength, they begin to sit up, and usually they have to do it with help, but eventually they start doing it independently.
00:40
What this does is it frees up their hands to reach for things, so they're sitting up and they can reach for things in front of them.

That's when they start playing with their food, etc.
00:51
Once they sit up, they start learning to crawl.

It's very important that they actually crawl, because that that has not only plays in their motor development, but it's found that they help with their reading development as well...
