A hose is connected to a nozzie, as shown in the figure. Both the hose and the nozzle have circular crosssections. Water flows in the hose with a speed of \( 0.3 \mathrm{~m} / \mathrm{s} \). The radius \( r_{1} \) of the hose is 0.02 m and the radius \( r_{2} \) of the nozzle at the point where the water exits is 0.002 m . What is the speed of the water as it exits the nozzle?

Water flows with a speed of $0.43 \mathrm{~m} / \mathrm{s}$ through a hose with a diameter of $3.2 \mathrm{~cm}$. If the hose is attached to a nozzle with a diameter of $0.732 \mathrm{~cm}$, what is the speed of the water in the nozzle?
A garden hose of inner radius $1.0 \mathrm{cm}$ carries water at $2.0 \mathrm{m} / \mathrm{s} .$ The nozzle at the end has radius $0.20 \mathrm{cm} .$ How fast does the water move through the nozzle?
Suppose you spray your sister with water from a garden hose. The water is supplied to the hose at a rate of 0.461×10^(-3) m^3/s and the diameter of the nozzle you hold is 5.67×10^(-3) m. At what speed does the water exit the nozzle?
