According to the CDC it is key to make sure that our SMART goals are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time bound (2022). When creating the following goals, I tried to make sure that each component of a SMART goal was present. Goal: Increase awareness of the available assistance that the Community Diaper Bank offers to low-income families in our local community. Objective : By the end of the month (1-30-24) each cooperative partner (local health department, local Compass Health nonprofit health care organization, and the local nonprofit food bank,) will distribute information regarding the community diaper bank to 25 eligible families. Goal: Increase awareness about the diaper need in our local community, educate the community about the significant impact lack of diapers can have, and how their donations can help grow and sustain the program for our local community. Objective: By the end of 3-30-24 I will meet with 3 potential community donors presenting education on the diaper bank and the impact the program can have on families in need.
