Hello students, in this question we have been asked about the us after world war ii.
00:09
So what happened after world war ii is that us came to known as the leader of the free world.
00:22
Now, after this, after the end of world war ii, there were a lot of internal struggles that were going on about how to form the constitution, how to rule the country and so on.
00:38
So that were the internal conflicts that were going on.
00:42
But at the global level, the us and its allies and on the other end there was soviet union which led to us and ussr going into cold war for over a decade and as a result they were supporting conflict between their allies against each other.
01:18
So they were not actually in war with each other but they were in war with or war via their allies.
01:28
So the world was divided between the two groups.
01:33
One was us and one was the soviet union.
01:38
So the cold war between the two was going on during the 1940s, 50s and so on.
01:47
Even today there is a conflict that is going on but not just that the us or the soviet union is in power.
01:59
Now there is conflict with china as well as europe and other nations who are also competing for the top position.
02:15
So these are the challenges that existed in the 1940s right after the world war ii as well as that exist today.
02:24
It still exists, the global fight between countries still exists and the threat of nuclear war is still there.
02:33
So there is not much change between the countries and the challenges that they have or the war that they have, the cold war that they have amongst or between each other...
