Airline Holding Times
An airline has a toll-free number that potential customers can call to make flight reservations. Usually, the call volume is heavy and callers are placed on hold until an agent is free to answer. The airline hopes that a caller remains on the line until the call is answered.
The airline has three recordings that they can play while the caller is on hold: the airline's current advertisements and promotions, Muzak (a.k.a. "elevator music"), or classical music (specifically, Vivaldi's Four Seasons). The airline has hired you to assist with deciding what recording they should play.
You're investigating the SRQ "What recording keeps callers on the longest?" using an ANOVA model. At this point in time you will now use ANOVA Screens to help you analyze the data collected. Let i index the type of recording played and j index the callers assigned to recording.
A. Complete the Screens.
