An Atwood machine consists of two masses, connected by a rope,
hanging vertically on either side of a frictionless pulley. The
masses are M1= 3.0 kg and M2= 4.0 kg. Assume the mass of the pulley
is insignificant when compared to the hanging masses. Initially the
masses are held at the same elevation. When the masses are released
from rest calculate the following:
a. The magnitude of the masses' acceleration.
b. The magnitude of the tension in the rope.
