In your discussion post, choose one of these groups and profile a person (real or imagined) who has a disability from that group. Describe the disability. To which group(s) does it belong? Question 1 This discussion is based on your reading in Chapter 13. Students with disabilities receive several protections in the discipline process. These same protections are not available to students without disabilities. There is an ongoing debate about whether, and to what extent, students with disabilities should be treated differently in terms of discipline. What are some of the policy justifications for doing so? What are some of the arguments for treating all students the same in the discipline process? Which are more persuasive and why?
