Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the natural environment that can cause adverse effects to the environment and human health. Pollution can take the form of chemical, biological, physical, or radiological. Pollutants, the components of pollution, can be either manmade (anthropogenic) or naturally occurring contaminants (in nature). Pollution is often classified as point source (know where it is coming from) or nonpoint source (can't identify the exact location) pollution. What are some of the causes/sources of pollution? Examine some of the effects of pollution on humans. How do the other 2Ps (Population and Poverty) contribute to or influence pollution? What would you consider as some solutions to the pollution problem?
