we're going to answer some of these problems and then we'll move the paper up. So the 1st 2 or three deal with tiles. So which of the following equations illustrates Where the following illustrates the equation 2/3 times 2 15. So when you multiply 2/3 Times 2 15 or 2/5, this is really like 25th times um 6 15 so that we're all in the same unit, same amount. And so this comes out to be 60 over 15th which reduces to four, not 60/15, 60 over 225 Which reduces to 4 15th. So the two parts that overlap To get the 4 15th. This makes illustration B And then 2/3 and three fists. The answer is 6/5 6 15. So this one is right here And here we have 1/2 And 3/4 and the parts that shaded is 3/8. So we're doing the multiplication. So that's let her see so we're gonna continue. So what is 4/5 of 60? So when we set this equation is is of So is 4/5 of 60. So yes, So 4/5 of 60, so 4/5 of 60. Mm Okay we multiply those. That gives you 48. Mhm. Well we actually multiplied because we're not finding the percentage, so we're doing 4/5 of 60. So that gave us 48. If you multiply 4/7 And 9/10 you multiply straight across. So that gives you 36/70. That's letter D. Because 36. Oh no no we need to reduce it. So 36 divided by 70. They're both even so they can both be reduced. So that's 18/35. So that's let her be. And then what's the product of 4/7 and five nights? So again we multiply So that's 20/63. Um I don't believe that can be reduced anymore. So that just stays 20/63. 715 of 24 is what? So 7 15 of 24. So seven divided by 15 times 24 That's 11.2. But that is um .2 comes out to be 11 and too tense which becomes 11 and one fist and then now 9/16 of 8/15. So there we just multiply straight across. So that's 72 16 times 15 That's 2:40. That can be reduced. So 72 divided by 2 40. That comes out to be 3/10. And then the last one what is n on for Times 4/9 times 3/9. So this is 4/1 Times 4/9 times 3/8. We multiply straight across on the top. So four times four times three Is 48 on the bottom we get one times nine times 8. That's 72. That's going to reduce to 48 divided by 72 is going to reduce to 2/3. So that's letter AAA

Absolute Value - Example 1

In mathematics, the absolute value or modulus |x| of a real number x is its numerical value without regard to its sign. The absolute value of a number may be thought of as its distance from zero along a number line; this interpretation is analogous to the distance function assigned to a real number in the real number system. For example, the absolute value of ?4 is 4, and the absolute value of 4 is 4, both without regard to sign.
