Assume standard network ecommerce network configuration for all applications including webservers residing in the DMZ (external facing only), application and database servers both segregated on the internal network on specific subnets firewalled off from the remainder of the network. Additionally, all internal webservers reside on a single subnet separated from the remainder of the network by a firewall. The network “doors” to the internet and intranet are separated by firewalls. what are the controls and what are the gaps?
