Assuming that the service time of 5 minutes (12 customers per hour) is exponentially distributed: What is the probability that service times exceed 10 minutes [P (t > 10)]? There is a chance that some customers will have to wait for their prescriptions to be filled, even though patients arrive on average every 12 minutes and it only takes five minutes to serve the customer on average.
