c The structure of the InP/Si100 material can be examined using X-ray diffraction. InP crystallizes in the zinc-blende structure, which consists of two interpenetrating fcc lattices, one of In atoms and one of P atoms (the two lattices are displaced from each other by a quarter of the body diagonal of the cubic cell). Calculate the general form of the structure factor in the case of an fcc lattice and hence, or otherwise, calculate the structure factor of the 2,0,0 Bragg reflection for InP in terms of the atomic form factors fi and fp.
