At a meeting of molecular biologists, it was discovered that there were two spies who were impersonating real molecular biologists. Sherlock Holmes was called in to detect the impostors. He first asked Helmut von Braun to spell furry feline in the DNA language. "Cytosine, Adenine, Thymine -- CAT," replied von Braun. Holmes next asked John Ffolkes-Wombat, the Englishman, to spell intestine in DNA. "Sorry," replied Ffolkes-Wombat, "it can't be done." "Can you do it, Dr. Bangayan?" inquired Holmes. "Of course," replied the Filipino. "Guanine, Uracil, Thymine -- GUT." Next he asked Dr. Blastoff if he could spell to perform on stage in DNA. "Da," replied the Russian. "Alanine, Cytosine, Thymine -- ACT." "Monsier la Barge, "Holmes said, turning to the Frenchman. Would you be good enough to spell to touch, as in football, in DNA?" "Tres simple," responded la Barge. "Thymine, Adenine, Guanine -- TAG." After a moment, Holmes said, "Aha! The impostors are": A) Blastoff and Bangayan. B) la Barge and Bangayan. C) Blastoff and von Braun.
