Consider the following four-bar linkage. Write down your analysis and the toggle positions on a separate sheet. Write a MATLAB script, called YournameLab4, to determine and plot the coupler curve of point P with respect to the shown coordinate system. You can define all the link parameters and do all the calculations in the script. Make sure that your plot is properly labeled. Hint: First do the analysis with respect to the local coordinates (the X-axis parallel to the ground link) and at the last step transform the coupler points into the global coordinates. Follow the steps below to solve the problem:
Determine the toggle positions of the four-bar. Use these limits to determine the range of θ2 used to calculate the link motion and for your plot. Input angle at toggle position:
Use the vector loop method (Pg 185-191) to determine the values of θ3 at the toggle position. θ3 at toggle position: 560
Determine the coupler curve of point P for the whole range of θ2. Use θ3 of the open circuit configuration for this. (Refer to method on Pg 204). Transform the points into the global coordinates using the coordinate transformation technique.
