MY ORGANIZATION:https://www.beacheshabitat.org/ Use your Guidestar subscription (or ProPublica) to search the organization's 990 forms (these are tax forms). Does the organization have any private business subsidiaries (usually listed as LLCs)? You can usually find this information under Schedule R. Search the form for "Schedule R" or "related organizations". If the search function does not turn anything up for good measure, scroll through the form and then do a quick Google search Many organizations have LLCs and many do not. If yours does, learning about it is interesting. It if does not... well, then it does not. If your organization has an LLC, what does that company do? If your organization does not have an LLC, does it have any fee based services? You can find this information through a combination of the organization's website and looking through the Form 990 (not Schedule R). For example, Environmental Defense Fund has one or more LLCs. Climate Central does not have an LLC but still offers fee based services. Below is an excerpt from the Climate Central 2020 Form 990. You can see that they receive some revenue for program services and most revenue comes from contributions and grants. 501c3 organizations do not need to disclose donor names
