00:08 So i'm going to move the 4x next to the x squared, leave some space.
00:14 I'm going to move the negative 6y next to the y squared and leave some space.
00:19 And i'm going to add one to the other side of the equation.
00:24 Now i'm going to complete the square.
00:27 Completing the square means i take half the middle term, square it, and add it.
00:31 Half of 4 is 2 and 2 squared is 4.
00:35 But whatever i do to one side of the equation, i have to 2 to the other to keep it balanced...
