Do is basically take away this piece that we know is not included and we can find that area by just multiplying its dimensions 8 meters by 6 meters and we multiply 8 times 6 we get 48 so 143 meters squared minus 48 meters squared will tell us the area of the shape that's actually there and that area is 95 meters squared and then for b we want to find the perimeter and we have most of the sides we need we have 13 meters here 11 meters here six meters here and eight meters here, but there are two sides that we're missing here and here.
