00:01 All right, and your question, you're told we have a conveyor belt that is moving a vitamin bottle towards a filling machine.
00:10 And our job is to sketch a graph showing the position of this bottle before and after it's filled.
00:19 We are told that the conveyor is moving at two feet per minute, and that is really going to apply or relate to a slope.
00:30 And when it's moving towards the machine, or i should say maybe before filling, that would be negative two for a slope because it's getting closer.
00:44 The distance between the bottle and the filling machine is decreasing.
00:48 So i change that to a negative two slope.
00:51 But after filling, that is going to be a positive slope.
00:58 So what this is implying or looking like it's creating is an absolute value type function.
01:04 So we're supposed to, it goes on to say, use the x -axis for time.
01:09 So i'm going to write minutes beside my x -axis, and i'm going to write feet for my y -axis, because feet is the y -axis is distance.
01:22 And it says that use the x -axis for time before or after the bottle is filled.
01:29 So if we think about before the bottle is filled, i'm just going to mark, let's say, negative five.
01:35 That is five minutes before it is filled.
01:41 And then we could have these tick marks here coming in, but now we've established our scale.
01:46 And i'll do the same on the right.
01:48 I'll go out here to mark five.
01:52 On the y -axis, let's mark five feet...
