Errors are defined as deviations that are competence-based and occur as a result of a lack of knowledge. If your data and methods are not valid or are not thought out enough, you may draw incorrect or misleading conclusions from your results. If your data and methods are not reliable, you may not be able to replicate or generalize your results, Validity and reliability matter because they can negatively affect the quality and credibility of your research. The types of errors identified and read up on are type 1 and type 2 errors. Research errors may cause lack of trust from their subjects as the distortion of facts may give the impression that researchers have ulterior motives.

Error in research is anything that interferes with making a confident conclusion about the study that was conducted. There are two types of errors in research, Random error and Systematic error. These errors affect the credibility of the research by making it difficult for other researchers to repeat a similar study. A study that has errors causes doubt to generalise findings to the population. comment and give in put on the information above
