Defining Curriculum Philosophy for my program 1- It is important to understand how children think to informs instruction and curriculum design, enhances teacher-child interactions, supports diverse learning needs, and fosters effective communication. 3- We construct information from everyday experiences by integrating hands-on activities, encouraging exploration and discovery, using real-world examples, and promoting reflective thinking. 4- The family's role in educating their young children is collaborative support, cultural and linguistic enrichment, emotional support and guidance, and home-school connections. 8- The role of play in learning experiences for young children is fostering curiosity and exploration, developing social-emotional skills, enhancing cognitive development, and encourages creativity and imagination. Part 3: Curriculum philosophy statement: At our early childhood education program, we adopt a child-centered approach, fostering curiosity, creativity and critical thinking through 4 core values: Child-led exploration, emphasizing play-based learning and discovery; Inclusive education, supporting diverse learners, cultures and abilities; Collaborative learning, encouraging peer interaction and family engagement; and integrated learning, connecting various subjects and experiences. Our curriculum goals include social-emotional growth, developing empathy, self-awareness and self-regulation; Cognitive development, nurturing curiosity, problem-solving and creativity; and academic readiness, preparing children for lifelong learning. Implementation strategies involve play-based learning, integrating hands-on activities and projects, project-based learning, encouraging in depth exploration; and reflective practice, informing instruction through observation and feedback. By embracing this philosophy, we cultivate confident, compassionate and curious learners, empowering them for success. Our approach is informed by the California Department of Education's Infant Toddler Curriculum Framework, California Preschool Curriculum Framework and Transitional Kindergarten Learning Foundations, ensuring a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate education
