Provide a specific example of a research hypothesis in public administration. Discuss how this is used. Do not use an example from the Meier textbook. Please use an example from your workplace if possible or use an example from the field of public administration. An example of a research (alternate) hypothesis (referred to as H1 when writing hypotheses) would be: "Our town is having a problem with pigeons in the city park. Our goal is to have fewer than 25 pigeons per day on average present in the city park. The research hypothesis would be, H1 : Mu less than 25 pigeons per day". Then there would be a brief discussion of this problem and potential approaches to dealing with it.
