00:06 So my base here is probably a rectangle.
00:09 So this is a rectangular prism.
00:12 The volume is always area of the base, not just the base, but area of the base times the height.
00:19 And the height is the distance between the two bases.
00:21 So my base is, my height is going to be approximately 1 .5 feet will be my height.
00:28 And my base is a rectangle with dimensions three and a half feet times two and a half feet.
00:35 So before i multiply these terms, let's just convert them to improper fractions.
00:42 So the way to do this, one and a half feet, i'm going to multiply then add two times one is two plus one is three over two.
00:51 This is equivalent to three over two.
00:52 Three and a half, three times two plus one is the same thing as seven over two.
00:56 And then 2 .5, 2 times 2 is 4 plus 1 is 5 over 2...
