First you have to do a data analysis. The indicators are given below. You can find all the data of these indicators from WDI, it has to be at a range of 25 years.
What is expected from you is as follows:
1) Create a panel data. Here your columns should show each data series and years.
2) The main purpose of this project is to compare growth with the indicators given to you such as education, inequality and environment data, and to understand whether these indicators accompany growth. That’s why you’re expected to compare all these data with growth
3) Your conclusion report has to include your results from your analysis in a word document not exceeding 1 page.
For excel analysis (panel analysis):
• Make your comparisons on a line-graph in Excel (for example, one graph should contain growth and environmental indicators, another graph should contain growth and education indicators)
For your report:
• Write down your conclusions in the word document. This report should include the answers of these questions:
1. What did you find as a result of your analysis,
2. What could be the reasons for the results you found? (your opinion)
Note: You need to revise what we have done so far for 25 years (for Gini and GNI)
Indicators:
Growth:
GDP per capita (annually growth %)
Inequality and affordability:
Gini, Urbanization, access to electricity ( Access to clean energy), workforce (age+15)
Education:
School enrollment ( primary, secondary, tertiary) (all of them also should include gender analysis)
Environmental indicators:
Carbon emissions (metric per capita)
Crop production index
