So the first thing that to realize is that to solve this problem, we have to use poor mutations and the reason for that is because, with permutations we deal with events where repetitions are not allowed in the order in which people are picked doesn't matter and by Repetition is not allowed. I mean that when we pick people we can't somehow pick that same person twice for a team. So the permutations used the formula n factorial, divided by n minus r factorial to give us the desired number of outcomes. Where n is equal to the total number of people we can pick from? So that's 30 in our case and r is equal to the amount of people that we want to pick as 13 point. So n minus r n is still 30 and r is going to be equal to 13 point, because there are how many people we want to choose. So if we simplify this, this comes out to 30 factorial, divided by 30 minus 13 factorial, which is 17 factorial, and so this gonna be quite a large number. But from my calculator in scientific notation, this is 7.457 times 10 to the 17 point, and so this is our final answer, and this is how many different ways from 30 people we can choose 13 for a different versor. So this is our final, a and scientific notation.
