Generate a solubility vs temperature curve for each salt (NaCl,
KCl, NaNO3, CuSO4,
K2Cr2O7, KClO3,
Ce2(SO4)3). For each salt:
Grab the salt and a beaker containing 100 mL of water.
Place 120 g of salt in the beaker of water. (For
NaNO3, place 150 g into the water).
Change the temperature of the solution by right clicking on the
beaker, select thermal properties, insulate the container, and
input the temperature. Select temperatures according to the
table.
Calculate the solubility of each salt at the given temperature
(g/100mL).
Fill out the table or copy and paste from excel. Plot each
curve on the same graph and insert the graph.
