In this video, we're shown four different wave forms, and we want to identify or name them.
00:08
Okay, so we're gonna have four little waves.
00:15
Okay, so we're gonna have wave a, b, c, and d.
00:29
Okay, and wave a kinda looks like one of our trig functions.
00:35
Okay, so we oscillate kinda like this back and forth.
00:40
Okay, we have the same amplitude, save wavelength throughout.
00:45
Okay, our second wave looks like this.
00:49
So we go up with a constant slope, reach some high point, come straight down to a low point, and then go up with a constant slope again, straight down, and so on.
01:00
Okay, that's our second wave.
01:04
Our third wave looks like a series of kind of rectangular shapes.
01:11
Okay, and this pattern repeats on and on forever.
01:14
Then our last wave looks kinda like the first wave, but instead of like those nice curve shapes, we have just sharp triangles.
01:23
Okay, so we have constant slopes up and down.
01:25
They just change sign.
01:28
Okay, so now we wanna name these waves...
