Count all atoms present and provide chemical formula for the molecule. Provide degrees of unsaturation for the given molecule Step 2: Using modeling kit provided, assemble 3,4-dimethylhexane as shown in figure 2. Pay close attention to the 3-D structure and place the methyl groups according to the drawing. Your structure should contain ALL atoms present in 3,4-dimethylhexane. Step 3: Flip the molecule over (think of a pancake flip) and draw the resulting structure using line-angle format. Step 4. If possible, rotate the molecule around a bond between carbon 3 and 4. Draw the resulting structure using line-angle format. If rotation is not possible, explain why.
