How can we prevent The spread or Disease?
Khalida D.
Response to this discussion post. There are many ways hospital personnel can reduce the spread of pathogens at the hospital. For example, cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and equipments regularly can help reduce the presence and spread of pathogens. Alcohol-based disinfectants are effective against Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis, and Candida. Alcohol-based disinfectants can be used to clean surfaces and for hand sanitizers. Healthcare personal should wash their hands or use alcohol-based sanitizers before and after patient care to reduce the spread of pathogens. Another way to reduce the spread of pathogens, is be dispose properly of contaminated material. Knowing what material goes into the biohazard waste or the regular trash can reduce the spread of pathogens into the environment.
