So if we have a room of 100 people, then what's the probability of having no shared birthdays? let's call that p.

Now, p is going to be, so for the first person we sample, they can be born on any day of the year.

For the second person we sample, they can only be born on 364 days of the year, because they can't share a birthday with the first person, and so on, down until we take the 100th person, who is going to be born, or is going to have 266 possible days that they can be born on out of 365.
