Develop a Call Centre Representative Elevator Pitch -- Job Interview. This is your opportunity to showcase to prospective employers your unique value proposition and how their organization can benefit from hiring you. For this assignment, you will write a speech that can be delivered within 30 seconds. You will need to practice delivering your speech within the 30 seconds allocated to you. Time yourself and make your speech as attention-grabbing as possible. The words you select should characterize an experience that has happened to you that is interesting or important, or something that you have learned or value that tells us a little about who you are, or something about your plans or hopes for the future, etc. Use MS Word and include the following elements in your speech: 1. A powerful opening. Use a solid sentence introducing who you are and what you do (be specific). Include your name, job title or primary role, and a tagline to support your profile. 2. A paragraph discussing why you chose this line of work and how it fits in with your goals and values. 3. A paragraph discussing why the person you’re pitching to should care (e.g. how do you set yourself apart from others. Your strengths and experience and what are the achievements you are proud of) 4. What do you want (why are you telling them this? You need something compelling) An example: • I’m a recent Canadian College graduate with a diploma in Business. I provide graphic design on a freelance basis for local businesses and nonprofits, and am an active YouTuber. You might have come across my channel “George’s Kitchen”? Anyway, if you know someone in need of unique and captivating graphic design work, please feel free to send them my way!
