Hunson and Lard are two fearless adventurers who face mathematical roadblocks and puzzles whenever they go on an adventure. They are currently facing a challenge where they need to cross a river that is surrounded by two high walls. A local gave them each a coil of rope that he said would be just enough to scale the walls, which he described as "certainly high". Lara arrived at her first wall and found that her rope was exactly long enough to reach the other side. However, she immediately noticed that the other wall was higher than hers. She realized that she would need to warn Harrison to find more rope. Using her handy laser distance-and-angle measurer, she measured the distance between the walls, which was 450 feet. She then measured the angle of elevation from the top of her wall to the top of the other wall, which was 38 degrees. Lara also measured the angle of depression from the top of her wall to the bottom of the other wall and found it to be 12 degrees. With this information, Lara was able to quickly calculate and inform Harrison of the proper length of rope he would need to reach the top of his wall.
