Draw the Grafcet and obtain the Grafcet equation.
Design FBD for the shown chemical process. II. Develop the ladder programming from the Grafcet. The process starts by pressing the Start PB. When pressing the Start PB, PUMP1 operates for 5 seconds and then stops. Then Pump 2 operates for 3 seconds and stops. Description of the cycle: Then the mixer motor runs for 60 seconds and stops. When the start push button is pressed, the box motor conveyor is turned on until the box reaches the sensor for the box. With the box in position, the apple motor conveyor is turned ON and the number of apples is counted using an apple sensor. When the apple count value is 10, turn off the apple conveyor. The process continues for 5 hours and then stops. It can be stopped at any time by pressing the Stop PB and then reset the apple counter. A schematic sketch of the automation system is provided in figure 1.
