Now, if person one receives on -the -job training that's very general, and then person two, it's very specific to their job, and we're asked, who's more likely to quit or quit first based off human capital theory? well, right off the bat, i want you to imagine that if you had to go to a training for a new job, and option one was to meet with a manager and go through exactly what you'd be doing with the team you're doing with it, and all of your training is curatorial to you and specialized to you, versus if i said, go to the auditorium, your position's going to be in the powerpoint, you're going to be an audience of a couple hundred people who all have different jobs, and you're here about all of them.

Which of those jobs are you more likely to build a bond to, build loyalty to, and not want to quit, give it a month? you'd probably say you would rather it's a specific and tailored to you training.

Well, that's what human capital theory would say, that specific training would allow that individual to grow in their skill sets, and also subsequently grow their earning potential...
