4. Design a compound spur gear train for a ratio of -80:1 and a diametral pitch of 12. Specify pitch diameters and numbers of teeth for both the gear and pinion. Sketch the train to scale (hand sketch or CAD). (Hint: Since the ratio is negative, we want to have an odd number of stages or an even number with an idler) (20 points)
5. Design a compound reverted spur gear train for a ratio of 24:1 and a diametral pitch of 4. Specify pitch diameters and numbers of teeth. Sketch the train to scale (hand sketch or CAD). (Hint: Since the ratio is positive, we want to have an even number of stages) (20 points)
