00:07 So accuracy is how close your measured value, how close the measured value is to the true value.

01:01 You got 6 .5 inches, 6 .4 inches, and then 6 .6 inches.
01:11 So if i, all of these numbers are very precise, right? because they're very close to each other.
01:18 So they're precise.
01:20 However, if i told you that the true value of the pencil was 8 .5 inches, they would be precise, but not accurate because they're very far from that true value.
01:32 However, if the true value was 6 .5 inches, you would say that was very accurate because these are all close to the true value and they're all precise.
01:46 So in answering that first question, how can you have good precision at? accuracy in spite of inherent measurement uncertainty...
