In PSpice, set up the single-stage amplifier circuit in Fig. 1. You may use the IRF150 N-channel enhancement MOSFET instead of the BS170 that will be used in lab experiments. Check the DC operating voltages and currents.
2. Investigate the voltage gain of the amplifier by finding the ratio of the largest undistorted output to the input signal. You may select R1 to get a reasonable bias point and Voa.
3. Find the input and output resistances by taking the ratio of input voltage to input current. (You may use voltage and current probes in PSpice.)
4. Run an AC sweep to check the frequency response of the circuit. Find the corner frequencies of the amplifier. Change the value of C to observe the bandwidth change of the circuit.
