Wellbeing is about good mental health. It is a complex and multifaceted area but in simple terms employees with good mental health are more resilient and productive. Investing in wellbeing programmes can be expensive and many organisations wait until there is a problem such as absenteeism. However, wellbeing is about more than just fixing what is broken; it is about changing organisational culture. Although one-off initiatives have good short-term impact this typically fades over time. Wellbeing is also about the whole person and home life is an important part of the overall picture. Outside of work, physical exercise and diet contribute to good mental health but other things such as voluntary work can also have a very positive effect. Making the workplace right for employee wellbeing is a long-term and ongoing process. Please select the correct answer from the options shown. TRUE FALSE CANNOT SAY
