Nathan, a shopkeeper, exhibits in his shop, certain articles, the sale of which was contrary to law. Roland, a policeman, enters the shop, picks up one of the articles and offers the price to Nathan who refuses to accept it, saying the article is not for sale to Roland or anyone else.
