Nanoparticle silver is beginning to find many applications, some of which will lead to these particles entering the environment. Thus, understanding the fate of these nanoparticles is important. To get an idea of the silver concentrations with which one may be dealing, it is useful to know the number of silver atoms in a given nanoparticle. For this exercise, please estimate the number of silver atoms in a 10-nm diameter nanoparticle.
