Two identical bulbs are connected to a source with 8V and negligible internal resistance. Each bulb has a resistance R = 2̩. Calculate the current through each bulb, the potential difference across it, and the power delivered to it. Do the same for the entire network if the bulbs are connected:
a) in series
b) in parallel
Suppose one of the bulbs is melted, that is, its filament breaks and the current can no longer flow through it: What happens with the bulb, for the case of connection in series? And what about the parallel connection?
