To create a working Program Counter circuit.
BASIC INFORMATION
A Program Counter (PC) is a CPU register in the computer processor which has the address of the next instruction to be executed from memory. It is a digital counter needed for faster execution of tasks, as well as for tracking the current execution point.
A Program Counter is also known as an Instruction Counter, Instruction Pointer, Instruction Address Register, or Sequence Control Register.

- 1 Breadboard
- 1 74LS245
- Connecting Wires
- 1 555 Timer
- 16 LED (Red)
- 1 10k-ohm Trimmer
- 3 Rocker Switch (SPDT)
- 1 330-µF Capacitor
- 1 10k-Ω Resistor
- 1 1k-Ω Resistor
PROCEDURE
1. Construct an 8-bit program counter circuit using Circuit Wizard (or simulator software similar).
2. Prepare all the materials needed to be constructed on a breadboard.
3. Plot the circuit on the breadboard.
4. Troubleshoot the circuit.
