One of the major points of the Rosenhan study is that applying
labels to patients can be dangerous, as it leads people to
then interpret ambiguous behavior in accordance with the
label. Although the Rosenhan study looked at hospital
settings, this label based interpretation happens all the time in
the real world. Provide an example where either someone
treated you differently or viewed your behavior differently because
of a label attached to you or an example where you treated someone
else differently because of a label. 250 words max!
